Handy Hints for building a Garage, Carport, Pato Cover or Awning

Before your Garage, Carport or Patio Cover / Awning Arrives
When you are building a garage, carport or patio cover from Hardware2u ensure you read and understand the instruction guide first. Also read and understand the engineering plans which contain very specific information not elaborated on in the instruction manual. Layout all of the parts and check them off against the parts or bill of materials list. If you are missing any parts ensure that you email us with a list of what missing. Ensure that you contact your local council and ask about your obligations. Not every council needs the same information for garages, carports or patio covers and some may have site specific requirements that you will need to be aware off. Keep note of the invoice number. This allows us to quickly identify your building and everything about it should you need to contact us.
 
Assembly of your new Garage, Carport or Patio Cover / Awning
Ensure you have a battery or a electric hammer drill for assembly. You will also need various tolls such as a adjustable wrench, hammer, and screwdriver bits.  2 people are required to safely assemble most Hardware2u garage carport or Patio Covers If possible  it’s always handy to have plenty of hands on deck.
